I was there in winter and the view was magic, the combination of armenian spirit and mountains. On Saturday the entrance is free, so you can pick up taxi and with sure visit Armenian landmark. if you are an old soul or an art and architecture-nature lover, this tourist spot in Armenia you should not missed. My tour guide said it is a pagan temple, built by their god Mitra, the god of light..One of the oldest ancient site I visited. You've never been to Armenia if you haven't visited this site. I was so amazed with its beauty though this used to be a pagan temple but the architectural marvel was superb. I love this so much. , I definitely come back in Yerevan
